In the recent data released by the Indian Ministry of External Affairs in 2019, there were 753,000 Indian students abroad, and the United States was the number one choice, followed by other popular destinations such as United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada.
Due to various preferences and the unavailability of seats in institutions of eminence back home, many have started going abroad to realize their dreams. Indian students are favored for their academic skills and are given priority with some relaxations in immigration policies in Western countries, enabling them to work after graduation and eventually settle in the country that they choose to study.
